Directions
Tomato Soup
In a large saucepan, melt your butter or place in your olive oil until is spreads evenly in the pan.
Pour in your tomatoes, onion, stock, and seasonings and bring it to a simmer.
Let it cook uncovered for at least 30 minutes and add more seasoning if desired. The mixture should start to turn a lighter red and the onions should start to break down.
Turn off the burner, move your saucepan to a surface that wasn't recently heated, and let it cool for at least 10 minutes while you start on the biscuits.
Blend it all together using an immersion or regular blender.
Cheddar Garlic Biscuits (makes 6)
Either follow the instructions below or on the mix's bag itself.
Pour the mix out in a medium sized mixing bowl
Preheat your oven to 450ºF and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil
If you will be using any mix-ins, prep and mix them into your mixing bowl (we recommend the 2oz shredded cheddar cheese and diced chives but many other mix-ins will do).
Measure 3/4 cups of water and pour 1/2 a cup of it into the mixing bowl while mixing with a spatula.
Slowly add and mix in the rest of the water, ensuring you hydrate the dough without letting it get too wet and mix until uniform. You may not need all the water.
Divide the dough into 6 pieces, shape each piece into a biscuit-like sphere, and place them on your baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Let cool on the tray outside of the oven for 10 minutes before enjoying!
